HUNTER’S CERTIFICATE
Take the Swedish Hunting Examination under professional guidance. You read the literature in advance. Then, at the course, you get a thorough grounding in the theory, shooting, the safe handling of guns and judging distance.

SHOOTING FOR HUNTER’S CERTIFICATE

Train up your shooting prior to taking the Swedish Hunting Examination shooting test, with professional guidance. We shoot both shot and bullets. The course concludes with taking the shooting test with an authorized examiner. Guns are available for loan during the course. Ammunition included.

PRACTICAL HUNTING COURSE
After completion of the Swedish Hunting Examination, you can build on your knowledge with this twoday course in hunting – practical methods. Together with an experienced hunting guide, you will spend two days and nights in one of our wilderness camps and
hunt ptarmigan and grouse.

FLY-FISHING COURSES: BASIC, STANDARD AND EXPEDITION

Basics course, 3 days, starting from zero. We look at equipment choice, basic methods of casting and the art of reading the water.

Advanced course, 2 days, starts off where the basic course ended. We build on this with more hands-on fishing in lakes and flowing water. The emphasis here is on reading the water and presenting the fly as attractively as possible. You can take part in this course if you have your own equipment and already know how to set a fly a few metres out.

Expedition, 4 days and 3 nights. This course is open to experienced anglers. Those with a generous nature may like to share their experience with anglers who have less experience. We leave civilisation behind and set off trophy fishing in the open sections of the Tavvaätno or Kaitum Rivers with one of our experienced guides. There are opportunities to catch large quantities of fish even for beginners, and perhaps a personal best for those with more experience. Guided drifting expedition in the wilderness.

UGL- Leadership and Co-operation in Groups
The aim of this course is to make the participants more effective as leaders or managers, trainers and group memebers.

This course is about group dynamics, and focuses on the participants’ own experiences in the exercises and information provided during the course. The course is experiencebased,
and participants work actively to develop themselves within their
own areas.

The course is demanding and puts heavy demands on you as a participant. You should be mentally in balance with yourself and your environment. The course is run in groups of 8–12 people and is led by two experienced and certified facilitators. The course is in the form of a residential course at the ICEHOTEL over five days and includes sessions each evening. The course requires your attendance at all sessions.

Course in Leadership Development
A ground-breaking new course that is aimed at managers and leaders of organisations and companies who want to develop their leadership abilities and grow in their role as managers. The course builds on the latest research and the application of leadership.

Leadership Development is used as a model for leadership training by the Swedish Armed Forces and is a popular management and leadership course in industry and public administration.

The aim of this course is to give you a solid foundation for consciously developing your leadership on a daily basis; and to contribute to developing you and your organization towards greater efficiency.

Before the course start, your current leadership style is mapped. This is done by you yourself and those you select from your work environment filling in a rating form. The results of this rating are qualityassured on a scientific basis by the Swedish National Defence College (FHS).

The course runs for four days, with three days initially and one day’s followup after three months. The course is run in groups of 8–15 people and is led by experienced and certified facilitators. You first get a theoretical grounding in the Developing Leadership model. Thereafter, lectures alternate with exercises in which you work actively on strengthening your current leadership.

Throughout the course, you get personal feedback from the other course participants and the course facilitators. You receive personal supervision in continuing to develop and strengthen your leadership based on your own personal action plan. The last part of the course is the reunion with followup three months later to firmly establish your personal action plan.

Summer course, 4 days along the Torne River. You learn about lighting fires, bivouacking, orienteering and nature’s larder. We also look at the importance of maintaining good hygiene and the materials available in nature to do so.
