From Kiruna Airport you will travel by bus to the village of Nikkaluokta, near Kebnekaise which is the highest mountain in Sweden. The road to the remote village of Nikkaluokta follows the Kalix River and passes through lands belonging to the Leva and Norrkaitum Sami people.

In Nikkaluokta you will receive your food provisions which you will carry in a small backpack during the hike. The rest of your luggage will be transported by helicopter directly to the base camp. Accompanied by your guide the hike towards Kebnekaise begins. The terrain is friendly and there is plenty of time to take in and enjoy the magnificent scenery and beautiful flora of the Swedish mountains.

From lake Ladtjojaure you will approach Kebnekaise by boat. When you reach the shore it is time to enjoy the pack lunch which tastes wonderfully in the wild. In the early evening you reach the well-equipped and comfortable Kebnekaise Base Camp. Here you enjoy a well-deserved dinner before
tumbling into bed.

There is a lot of excitement in the air the following morning as you set off to climb Kebnekaise, accompanied by two experienced mountain guides. The sky is blue and the views spectacular as you follow the eastern route towards the summit. When you reach your goal, at 2 117 metres above sea level, you are at the top of the world. Your feat is celebrated in the evening, as you enjoy a three course dinner at the base station.

In the following morning a helicopter will fly you back to Nikkaluokta where a coach is waiting to take you to Jukkasjärvi and ICEHOTEL. During summer you can enjoy the magnificent ice art at ICEHOTEL Art Center, where 2000 tons of crystal clear ice from the Torne River is on display in the shape of ice sculptures. The impressions from Jukkasjärvi will remain long after you have returned home.
