From Jukkasjärvi you will travel further north to Rensjön where you visit the Sami family Kuhmunen who is happy to introduce you to the traditional Sami reindeer husbandry, the Sami history and everyday life. From Rensjön your journey continues through a very scenic mountain region where there is a good chance of spotting the magnificent northern lights. Upon your arrival in Tysfjord a gourmet dinner a la northern Norway awaits you.

In Tysfjord your orca safari begins with a slide show and a presentation about this magnificent mammal which is also known as the killer-whale. Thereafter it is time to board the ship that will take you on a six hour journey on the beautiful Tysfjord, surrounded by snow-clad mountains. The Tysfjord region is famous for its natural beauty and not only will there be a chance to see the orcas but also to admire the sea eagles as they gather in their hundreds, in search for the herring, a prey they share with the orcas.
