At ICEHOTEL the many delicacies offered by nature’s pantry are served both as traditional dishes and as part of an exciting cross-over cuisine inspired by global culture. The restaurant is not made of ice, instead it offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere and interior design. For that extra touch of the Arctic, many dishes are served on ice plates made from the crystal clear ice of the Torne River.
The cuisine of ICEHOTEL Restaurant has been featured in gourmet magazines around the world and has been awarded the prestigious Werner Vögeli Statuette.
In October 2007, the Nordic Council of Ministers awarded ICEHOTEL the honorary New Nordic Food diploma.
