ICEBAR and court yard sculptures
’To work in ice is a privilege. The last eight years I have created art at the ICEHOTEL, by borrowing the water in a frozen moment and returning life back to the river in the spring.
I want to show both nature and peoples inner spirit as sculpture with light and warmth in ice.’
Alf Ekberg
Born in 1945 in the south of Sweden. Alf is a sculptor working with stone, bronze and glass. Since 1975 his sculptures have been shown in a number of galleries in Sweden, Germany, Denmark and Belgium.
He has made public sculptures and is represented in a number of art collections in Sweden, Germany, Poland and Belgium.
