“I first visited ICEHOTEL in 1993 when it was just a small igloo. Yngve Bergkvist, the manager, handed me a vision on paper to build a whole town in snow and ice and I said yes, I want to join. Since then we have been developing architecture and construction techniques and observing how snow and ice react as a building material.
