Natsuki Munakata

Natsuki Munakata is designer, architect, builder and sculptor of ice at Lake Shikaribetsu Igloo Village, Hokkaido, where she has worked for the past 6 years.

Natsuki was born 1977 in Tokyo, Japan. For her work she sought inspiration from nature and came across the ice of Lake Shikaribetsu.
Since then she has studied ice sculpture and construction at the Igloo village, where she now plays an active part of the artistic direction.

In the future Natsuki wishes to further pursue the possibility and expression of ice.
