Dryads

“Dryads are tree dwelling spirits that live in trees and sometimes take physical form of humans or elves. They are extremely elusive and chances are little that you will see one unless you surprise one or they wish to be seen.
There complexion and colour will change every season and in this time of year they are totally white. They are the protectors of trees so any damage will be met with force. When a tree dies the Dryad will die with it.

And if you look for her you won’t find her, but she will see you.

May you by miracle become friends with the Dryad of this tree:
She loves knowledge about all white things.”

Marjolein Vonk

Marjolein Vonk is a stylist for Elle, Residence and Phillips.
She also designs clothing together with Dorine van Ijsseldijk for special occasions such as the capes worn in ICEBAR Milan, Stockholm & the ICEHOTEL guide’s capes.

Cindy Berg
Cindy Berg is stylist for commercial photography and magazines, also working with window dressing, festivals and a wedding in a castle.
Cindy has a passion for illustration and portraiture and has also designed birdhouses for a Public Garden in Vancouver.

Prior to their first suite four years ago, Marjolein and Cindy’s only experience of ice and snow was skating on canals and making the occasional snowman.
