Things with wings
Goddesses with and without wings are contributing to a
meditative atmosphere affecting the sensual sleep of the
dream. There are window girls guarding the long sides
of the room, a large face of Venus protecting the sleeping
couple and a guarding angel on the gable wall watched by
ptarmigans in boots. In the middle there is a
dividing wall where goddesses guard the opening.
Above it all, in the middle of the dividing wall, there is
a full moon which lights up the whole room.
