Åke Larsson is the architect of ICEHOTEL. Åke first started building this suite over ten years ago, when he was trying to fill an entire room with ice, using as little ice as possible. Thanks to advances at ICEHOTEL saw station over the years, he now has been able to complete the project. Åke is an experienced wood artist and furniture maker, and has recently been experimenting with cement and magnetite.
