Hot rhythms in Kiruna
When the Original FIFA World Cup™ Trophy went on a world tour for the third time ever, a must stop of course were Kiruna and ICEHOTEL. The trophy reached its most northern point on the journey on the 1st of March and were welcomed by the locals giving a Brazilian themed carnival and a 3 meters high statue made out of snow, picturing the Christ the Redeemer (Christo Redentor) made by ICEHOTEL’s Arne Bergh. FIFA Ambassador Christian Karembeu accompanied the Trophy.
The Trophy visited LKAB and the world’s largest underground mine and of course made a stop here at ICEHOTEL.
