Simply walking past ‘Rest in the Nest’ you can´t help but feel invited to experience the playful security of this suite.. Immediately you notice two giant snow eggs nestled in an ice nest. As you enter the suite you walk through two ice bird legs and talons only to turn and see yet another set resting upon an ice wall. This is AnnaSofia Mååg’s second trip to ICEHOTEL and once again she has induced her sense of humor into this delightful suite. She works mainly with ceramics and her work is now touring throughout the United States with the exhibition VOICES. She has also participated in the World Ceramic Biennale in South Korea and has received awards at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
