The beauty of this sacral room, made of pure white snow, lies within the simplicity as it echoes the ambiance of the long gone past.
It was in the fusion of impressions from various medieval churches in the Swedish province of Uppland, but also a fusion of the minds of the three Swedish designers Anders Rönnlund, Anders Eriksson and Johan Fremling, as the design idea arouse.
The first two ICEHOTEL veterans teamed up with Johan who contributed with his sculpting expertise, although for the first time in ice.
