Maurizio Perron, Italy.
In 2009, on April 6th, an earthquake hit the city of L’Aquila in central Italy. Many people lost their lives. The town was damaged severely. The suite L’Aquila is a replica of a house from that city, and 3.32 the time when the earthquake hit. This frozen minute is a reminder about the tragedy that happened to all those people.
This is the second time Maurizio Perron creates an art suite for ICEHOTEL. He works as a teacher, teaching carpentry to children, and in his artistry he mainly works in wood and stone.
