For many years Japanese Sakai Hiroyoshi’s art delighted guests at ICEHOTEL. Tsu; the moon, was the recurring motif in each and every one of his suites. Sakai was a passionate and exceptionally skilled wood sculptor, his design uniquely characteristic.
No longer with us, Arne Bergh, Mikael Nille Nilsson, Sofi Ruotsalainen and Åke Larsson, all members of the ICEHOTEL Art & Design Group, built this suite in adoration for their friend’s enthralling art.
