Hunting trips

Lapland’s modest hunting traditions have been part of our lifestyle for centuries. This is the home to the biggest bull moose and the winter ptarmigan hunt is legendary. With our guides and grouse dogs as company, we offer you an experience of a lifetime.

Anyone who has ever glided on skis towards a flock of ptarmigan is hooked – and the yearning returns each January. If the weather gods prevent us from hunting on the mountain, we will swap our bullets for shot and take the dog to help us in the mountainside birch forest.

The biggest bull moose live in the Tornedalen Valley. Join our guides with a moose hound on the hunt for the king of the forest. Feel the excitement as you hear the baying and see the moose stationary in your sights.

Bird hunting in the forests near the mountains is a wonderful experience. Here, there are enormous open spaces with excellent habitats for capercaillie, black grouse and ptarmigan. The hunt is conducted with pointers and grouse dogs. In December and January, the hunt moves to the peaks and the dogs are exchanged for skis and white clothing.
