Luspen wilderness camp

If you’ve never spent the night in the wilderness, Luspen is the perfect spot to start your adventure. The camp is situated around 14 kilometres down river from Jukkasjärvi and just over six kilometres from the nearest road.

This is our smallest camp, providing space for 10 overnight guests in two cabins, with a wood-fired sauna. You get here by snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle or, for the hardy, cross-country skis. Or by riverboat and a simple hike, or by jet-boat or inflatable rafts that bring you all the way to the camp during summer.

Don’t forget to try the genuine wood-burning sauna. From here you can opt to hike back to Jukkasjärvi or continue your journey by white-water rafting down the unexploited national river in search of peace, quiet and fishing.

Accommodation is offered with a camp host, who can look after individuals or groups.
