Driving your own dog sled – the ultimate adventure
Capture the feeling of freedom — drive your own dog sled. Experience the energy from the sled dogs and the beautiful snowy plains on a mini-expedition in the wilderness.
Head out on a mini-expedition through the winter landscape with a dog sled. This half-day tour begins with a transfer over the frozen Torne River in a snowmobile sled to the Husky Homestead where you meet the dogs.
You get an introduction to the equipment and safety before you stand on the sled behind your own dog team and drive into the wilderness, following your guide. The snowy plains give you a feeling of freedom and the energy from the eager sled dogs fills the air. You stop at a cozy wilderness cabin halfway through the tour where you are served a traditional lunch. After the break, you drive the dog sled back to the Husky Homestead where you help unharnessing the dogs. The tour ends with a transfer back to ICEHOTEL in snowmobile sled.
