Capture the feeling of freedom — drive your own dog sled. Or come along as a passenger on this tour and sit in the guide’s sled. Experience the energy from the sled dogs and the beautiful snowy plains on a mini-expedition in the wilderness.
Head out on a mini-expedition through the winter landscape. For you who will drive your own sled dog team this half-day tour begins with a transfer over the frozen Torne River in a snowmobile sled to the Husky Homestead where you meet the dogs. All passengers will start direct in the dog sled at Icehotel. The snowy plains give you a feeling of freedom and the energy from the eager sled dogs fills the air. You stop at a cozy wilderness cabin halfway through the tour where you are served a traditional lunch before going back to Icehotel.

Loan of warm winter overall, warm shoes, gloves and balaclava if needed. Visit Riverside Lobby to get equipt.
Required to bring
Dress warm underneath, preferably in thermal clothing, a warm middle layer and hat.
Enjoying the ride as a passenger enables you to capture some amazing landscape views, not to mention the impressive work done by the strong dogs ahead of you.

Keep in mind

Passengers are not allowed to ride with other guests, only with the guide for safety reasons.
Departure time
The activity always begins on scheduled time, gather at Meeting point at least 15 minutes earlier, equipt and ready. Please note that you as a guest are personally responsible to visit Riverside lobby well ahead to get equipt if that is included in the activity.
