Drive your own dog sled and sleep in a wilderness cabin. A fantastic winter adventure with dogs and a night in the wilderness. Take the opportunity to try the sauna and look for the northern lights.
On this top-of-the-range overnight excursion, you will drive your own team of huskies and have plenty of time to get to know the dogs and their personalities. The tour begins at the kennel with an introduction to equipment and safety. The dogs howl eagerly before the start but as soon as you lift the snow anchor the chorus goes silent and the focus is on the trail ahead.

Enjoy the tranquility and the sound of the dog’s paws against the snow while you are driving deeper into the woods. Eventually, you reach a cozy wilderness camp, secluded in the forest. Warm-up in the wood-fired sauna and nibble on the sauna snacks that work up your appetite.

You are served a delicious three-course dinner and hopefully, you will see the northern lights during the evening. You sleep in a shared double room with breakfast the next morning. After breakfast, you help to harness the dogs and drive your own dog sled back to the Husky Homestead again. The tour ends with a transfer back to Icehotel. You'll be back at 11 am in the morning.
