Icehotel – a bucket list destination
When international travellers are googling Sweden, ice hotel and northern lights are the most exciting, and when American TIME Magzine published "2018 World’s Greatest Places” the year-round open Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden (Icehotel 365), made it on the list.
Icehotel is a world renowned hotel and art exhibition made of ice and snow – a company that started as a dream, and a vision. With creativity, enthusiasm and a strong belief as building material the dream came true.
Today, 30 years later, the story has just begun.
“To create a suite at ICEHOTEL is genuine, excruiantly tough, magic and absolutely lovely all at the same time. The art is preserved in the walls for a few months, a human imprint that slowly melts away. It’s fascinating to see everyone gathering here during the building period, and the people who return time and time again to create another ICEHOTEL, year after year.”
