Welcome to a fantastic day in the mountains and in the woods with a local guide. During this tour you will get to drive a snowmobile through magnificent nature where we have great opportunities to see the king of the forest, the moose, in his winter quarters.
In the coniferous forest below the bare mountain, you often see animals such as moose, reindeer, hares and birds - a unique experience. A local guide picks you up by car at Icehotel and together you drive through the winter landscape about 45 minutes before you arrive at Kalix River where you change to environmentally friendly snowmobiles and go on a trip through mountainous primeval forest and across the reindeer kingdom, where reindeer has wandered in ancient times. You share a snowmobile and take turns on driving.

During the tour, the guide tells about past times and about everyday life for the modern reindeer herder. A late lunch based on seasonal ingredients is enjoyed when the polar twilight descends over the mountains. The tour ends with a transfer about 45 minutes back to Icehotel.
