Capture the arctic nature. Learn to photograph nature and wildlife with Scandinavian Sami Photoadventures.
Photograph wild animals and beautiful landscapes during a day outdoors. The tour begins at Icehotel where a photo guide from Scandinavian Sami Photoadventures picks you up. Together you take a minivan out in nature and start to familiarize yourself with the camera and practice taking pictures. When you feel comfortable with the camera you head out in search of exciting objects to photograph.
On this tour you can also get some tips and tricks on how to take the best nature photos using only your smartphone.
The Northernmost part of Sweden has eight seasons and you choose the photo object depending on weather and time of year. Nature is filled with Arctic animals like moose, reindeer, and birds, and your guide will help you capture them and the wonderful surroundings on camera.
Booking Information
A memory card is not included. Bring your own SD memory card of at least 16 GB or buy it on-site for a cost of 250 SEK. At the activity day, we gather at Meeting point 15 minutes before start time, equipped and ready. Equipment
Your clothing is the most important part in order to be able to enjoy your activity to the fullest. We strongly advise you not to underestimate the cold in the Arctic during the winter months and to carefully follow our recommendations regarding clothing and equipment. Our guides have the right to deny anyone dressed wrongly or too cold to join the tour.Included
It is mandatory to wear warm clothes that are adapt to arctic weather. Loan of warm winter overall, warm shoes, gloves, and balaclava is included for you as a guest to this tour. Visit Riverside Lobby well in advance to get equipped.Required to bring

We can’t guarantee that you will see wild animals during the tour, the guide will do his/her best to find the perfect spot to photograph them. We have Arctic weather which means that we during winter have extreme temperatures and short daylight hours. In winter, temperatures in Jukkasjärvi can drop down to as low as -40 C (-40 F).SAFETY
