Welcome to the suite, “You Are Here”, a tribute to those who dare to dream and to choose a different way of life. To open your mind and make space for the heart is hard work, but the rewards are worth it. The artists of this suite have been choosing lives built on their own heart's desire, and therefore they are spending most of their time of the year doing ice projects and ephemeral art projects together, all over the world.
So, please enter this suite, connect your heart with your brain and let them lead you through life.

ELISABETH KRISTENSEN Norwegian/saami sculptor Elisabeth Kristensen works with ephemeral materials such as ice, snow and has returned to Icehotel year after year. She also travels a lot, creating monumental, ephemeral works of art.
DAVE RUANE or "Irish Dave" as he is also known as, works with ice, snow, metal, and wood. He has worked for Icehotel with different ice projects in Jukkasjärvi and around the world for many years and brings his Irish charm into all of his work. is a visual anthropologist who documents disappearing customs and traditions. Icehotel veterans with an eye for details.
