The ice has many different expressions. Its charm is at its best when it encounters the light.
Snowflakes and frost have a beautiful and delicate shape, so tiny yet it still shines when it gets hit by the light.
Huge ice makes fantastic reflections through the light.
The light through the ice will gently embrace you, make your heart peaceful and fill you with joy.

About the artists
Natsuki Saito from Tokyo Japan has been a designer for ice and snow event "Lake Shikaribetsu Igloo Village" since 1999.
Shingo Saito from Kanagawa, Japan is the chief builder for the ice and snow event "Lake Shikaribetsu Igloo Village" since 1997.
The pair has been returning to work as artists at ICEHOTEL almost every year since 2005-2006.
