About the art suite
You are invited to a meeting with the magical underwater world of the Nixie.
The Nixie is an aquatic creature, living next to streams and dangerous bodies of water. He appears as a beautiful young man, and a certain sign of his presence are waterlilies. With his seductive violin-playing and supernatural force he can lure both children and young women down into the deep waters, singing and playing his magical songs.
Fall asleep in a bed surrounded by waterlilies and parts of the Torne River. Let yourself be rocked to sleep by seductive music created by the artist of the suite.

About the artists
Tjåsa Gusfors has been working as an artist at ICEHOTEL since 2000. She is a multifaceted artists and creates sculptures from a variety of materials, including wood, stone and sand. She has also been working on stage with musical theatre for over 25 years. The music in the art suite is composed by Tjåsa.
Sam Gusfors is an ecological farmer and a carpenter. He is also Tjåsa's youngest son. He has been working with snow ans ice since an early age, on different projekts on the building site at ICEHOTEL. This is his secons project at ICEHOTEL together with Tjåsa. It is his voice singing in the suite.
