Out into nature! Finally again!
The more travel was limited during the last year the greater was the desire in us to finally be in nature again. Because we could feel on our walks in and around Berlin how important nature is to us and what power it gives us. Now that traveling is slowly becoming possible again we long for greater than Brandburg’s natural spectacles. We dream of climbing alpine peaks and of the mystical light in Jukkasjärvi. We long to be able to feel nature directly again and to be directly exposed to the elements of air, ice and water. Our design is dedicated to this desire to experience nature intensively. It shows an overwhelming nature scenery and makes the experience of nature immediate for the visitor.
Enthroned on a rock formation stands the king of the Alps – the capricorn. It dominates the spatial impression framed by golden light. Naturally inserted into the rock formation is the bed at the foot of the capricorn.
Once you have arrived at the bed and turned 180, you look back and realize that the passage through which you entered the room passed behind a waterfall. This waterfall of ice falls over a rugged rock edge and thunders into the abyss. The dramaturgy of the spatial experience and the different perspectives of the same "natural space" make up the special quality of the design.
Complementary yellowish and bluish light illuminate the space, heightening the drama and shaping the sculptural, three-dimensional rock formations. On the ceiling, the stars shimmer in the sign of Capricorn and point the way into the adventure!
