About the art suite

As Lukas Petko is an architect and also works a lot with 3D digital design, he became intrigued by the idea of creating a dream-like reality. His project is a study of space, objects, light and materials that define our environment, finding a balance between these elements and telling a story through juxtaposing a world which is concrete and tangible with a world full of dreams that we create while we sleep.

When designing this space he tried to create a space focusing on three elements; depth (trying to reach an illusion that the borders of the room continues far beyond the actual wall, which was accomplished by working with layers), materiality (the layers are created using different materials which creates a backdrop for each other) and composition (every object has its role and importance).
