ABout the art suite
Mysterious beings like fairies and trolls still live on this land.
Inspired by the books they read as children - by authors like Tove Jansson and Astrid Lindgren - this room is an hommage to the beautiful stories, forests and lakes of the North. The room possesses a mysterious Swedish atmosphere.
When entering the room, you will find a world of fairies. Laying down on the bed you can feel the breahting of nymphs and trolls.

About the artists
Natsuki Saito from Tokyo, Japan, has been a designer for the ice and snow event "Lake Shikaribetsu Igloo Village" since 1999.
Shingo Saito from Kanagawa, Japan, is the chief builder for the ice and snow event "Lake Shikaribetsu Igloo Village" since 1997.
The pair has been returning to work as artists at ICEHOTEL, almost every year since the winter season of 2005-2006.
