About the art suitE
For the last few years we have had chickens, and it's so much fun to watch them go to bed. They chat to each other about what happened that day and they all try to get the bests spots to sleep. This inspired us to design a room with chickens. Also, the expression "go to bed with the chickens" means go to bed early, which is not a bad thing to do in winter.

About the artists
Edith van de Wetering is an artist who loves to surprise with her art. For many years, she has been creating art using sand, at different locations across the world.
Wilfred Sitjger is a multi-faceted artist from the Netherlands, who is specialized in sand art. With his art he wants to inspire others to open their minds and use their imagination. The artists got married at ICEHOTEL, in the ceremony hall they designed themselves.
