A frozen moment in time
When you enter through the doors of Icehotel you step into the magnificent main hall with crystal clear ice pillars from floor to ceiling and the iconic chandeliers above your head. Here, you find yourself surrounded by frozen water, in an art exhibition and hotel built on nature's terms. The river Torne is the mother of Icehotel and she lends us all the ice we need to create a new hotel every year. For this hotel 563 tons of ice is used.
