Protecting the environment is the name od preventing potential degradation, living in harmony with the environment. It is comparing and respecting the earth with its mother, treating it humanely, caring for its flora and fauna, and conserving its resources with high ecological ethics.

About the artists
Munk-Erdene Tsagaan and Uugantsetseg Enkhtaivan are a couple in life and at work. They have travelled the world together for many years, making sculptures and installations in ice, snow and sand.
Munk-Erdene is also a wood sculptor and works as an Art Director, organizing international symposiums and competing both in Mongolia and China. Uugantsetseg is also a painter, working in the traditional Mongolian style. They both studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Mongolia.
ICEHOTEL has been one of their goal projects for many years, and this year they finally managed to organize their busy winter schedule to accommodate a trip to Jukkasjärvi.
