an homage to Mr Ribston – a Nordic apple
This suite is inspired by and created as an homage to the Nordic apple. Take a step into the world of an apple and experience sculptures and shapes of the room representing the body of the apple, and the bed is the taste journey that provides the flavor. The artist works at a cidery mill and in this suite, his favorite apple – the Ribston is in the center. By adding this apple to the blend, a normal apple juice turns into a taste journey.

Artist
HENKIA works mainly as a painter, but explores other forms such as music, photography and design. He also runs a cider mill with his wife on the island of Väddö in Roslagen.
This is his eighth suite at the Icehotel and this year´s suite is inspired by his favourite apple – the Ribston.
