Art Suite The Frozen Heritage by Rajnish Verma & Sunil Kumar Kushwaha

About the art suite

"The Frozen Heritage" is an architectural tribute that reimagines the grandeur of classical Indian stone craftsmanship through the ethereal medium of ice. This concept seeks to bridge the gap between the permanence of history and the transient beauty of winter, creating a living space that feels both ancient an otherwordly.

The room is designed as a frozen palace (Hima Mahal). By translating heavy, intricate motifs like the Jharokha (an ornamental balcony) and bas-relief panels into translulcent snow, the design plays with light and shadow.

The familiar curved arched niches (Mihrabs) and the detailed floral carvings provide a sense of warmth and royalty within a sub-zero environment.

The suite is more than just a room; it is an immersive cultural experience. It invites guests to witness the delicate beauty of heritage, captured in a moment of frost before it eventually returns to nature.
