About the art suite
A child crouches at the edge of a stream, gently releasing a frog. A simple gesture, familiar as a memory held in the body: Letting go.
Around him, the room slowly opens. The upper walls seem to loosen and peel away, revealing a soft light glowing from beyond. As the surface gives away, light enters like a breath. Grass rise along the banks, frogs appear among drifting lily pads, and a gentle current carries them through the space. At the far end, light becomes liquid, flowing downward before quietly continuing its course.
Between the inner landscape and nature, the room invites guests to release what weighs them down and trust the flow of life.
Like the stream, everything finds its way…

About the artists
Isabelle Gasse (Quebec, Canada) discovered ephemeral art through snow sculpting competitions at age 16. Alongside a career in film production, she has expanded her practice to ice, sand, wood and natural materials. She creates poetic monumental sculptures worldwide, including at the icehotels in both Quebec and Jukkasjärvi. She has earned several awards for her art.
Sandra St-Laurent (Quebec, Canada) works with mural art, sculpture and painting. She is trained in visual arts, art history and design, and now creates large-scale works exploring movement, storytelling and fantasy.
